I decided it was a bit plain, so i made a flower rosette to accompany it. This was really easy although it took longer to make than the skirt did!I cut up some long lengths of co-ordinating fabric, and gathered it up, then sewed it to the skirt in a circle-ish shape. Then got some pink ribbon and wound it around into a rose shape, tacking it as i went. I am not sure it looks right though.....

Skirting the issue....
Hey you,
I have been feeling pretty low recently. I fractured my neck 18 months ago and it has still not healed. So, i have been sat around feeling all achy and sorry for myself. Boooo.
So, i needed a new project! I had some gorgeous fabric (from fabric rehab of course!), although not quite enough so i did a quick patchwork job, then used a really basic pattern for an A-line skirt and literally 40 mins later:
At last!
Ok, it has taken a while, but finally i have gotten around to sorting this out. One reason it has taken so long is that i have been super busy making and creating for my first craft fair in ages..... The picture to the left is a ball for babies that you can attach to a pram, really easy to make once you work out how to assemble the hexagons into a football shape.
These little guys are called 'misfits', they are all a bit odd but they each have their own story to tell....
And she takes beautiful photos of local scenery:
We sold a few bit (even the bunting!) and i got the worst ever sunburn. Ouch. Still, it is always a buzz to see what people think of my creations. I think the best thing about them is the fabric, which i get from the awesome (and very addictive) fabric rehab.
